Punters are people too, ya know? In this case, punters are athletes too. Outstanding Vols punter Trevor Daniel is no slouch on the basketball court, apparently. I’ll be honest — I didn’t see this coming.

That’s my punter. Daniel is heading into his senior season and should go down as the latest in a long line of great pro punting talent at Tennessee. I’d be surprised if he’s not in a mini-camp as someone’s new special teams ace at this time next season.
I’m sure Butch Jones would rather not see his all-world punter doing things like this during the offseason, but a little athletic ability never hurt anyone — even punters!
