Tennessee’s need for a running back is still a need.
Mid-state’s Master Teague committed to Ohio State today, over a number of top schools including Tennessee. The Vols weren’t really considered leaders for Teague, but he became a replacement target for Butch Jones and his staff after Jashaun Corbin abandoned his commitment to Tennessee for Florida State. He is a three star prospect according to every major recruiting service out there, but has received a ton of interest in his recruiting process.
Teague caught the eye of Urban Meyer late, receiving an offer from Ohio State on Friday after participating in one of their camps. He racked up over 20 scholarship offers during his recruitment.

Tennessee will have to shift their focus elsewhere to fill their need for a back. Ty Chandler and John Kelly have the backfield locked down for the next couple seasons, but there isn’t much behind them, as I noted earlier today.
