The 2019 Tennessee recruiting class got its fourth commitment today in the form of cornerback Te’Cory Couch.
Couch — another Florida prospect — checks in at 6-0, 161 pounds. He had 15 offers on the table before pledging his commitment to the Vols. Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Michigan State and Louisville were just some of the schools that had offered Couch.
Couch joins middle Tennessee (Blackman HS) prospect Adonis Otey as the second cornerback commit of the 2019 cycle for Tennessee.
Though they are in different classes, this is the second cornerback commitment in the past 18 hours for Tennessee. Brandon Cross — also from Florida — committed yesterday and joined the 2018 class.
Something to watch here are some upcoming visits for Couch. He’s slated to head up north to pay Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State a visit in the near future, so this may not be over with.
