Tennessee Recruiting: Four Star Cornerback Jaycee Horn Trims List to Two Schools

Tennessee has lost out on one of their top 2018 targets. Jaycee Horn — a four star cornerback out of Alpharetta, Georgia — has trimmed his list to Alabama and South Carolina.

Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks have been in the driver’s seat from the get go. Tennessee seemed to be closing that gap a bit, especially after Orange Carpet Day last weekend. But Horn nixed those hopes this afternoon with his tweet.

We’ll see if South Carolina can hold on here. It’s never good when Nick Saban gets involved.

Tennessee holds two three star commitments at cornerback now in Brandon Cross and Tanner Ingle. Shatar McClay decommitted last night, thinning the corner group to just Cross and McClay.

Horn would have been a big get for Butch Jones, but Tennessee always felt like they were playing catchup here. Look for his commitment on July 15th.
