Tennessee Lands Commitment from Jamarcus Chatman

It was pretty easy to connect the dots on this one. Jamarcus Chatman, committed to LSU at the time, visited Tennessee during Orange Carpet Day. Chatman quickly backed out of his commitment to LSU after his visit. Just days after, he’s now pledged his commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers.

Chatman is a three star defensive end out of Rome, Georgia, according to 247 Sports. ESPN ranks Chatman as a four star prospect, checking in at 259th in their top 300.

He posted this just three days ago.

Then he posted this today, officially committing to Tennessee.

Chatman joins D’Andre Litaker and Brant Lawless on the defensive front for the Vols. That’s a pretty stout group of commitments to this point.

This only strengthens Tennessee’s already top ten 2018 class. What a weekend it has been for Tennessee — this is the third commitment of the weekend. Tennessee should see a big time bump across the board in the rankings.
