Tianna Bartoletta Crushes the USATF Long Jump Championship

The VFL has added another impressive feat for the university’s track and field program.

First, it was Christian Coleman owning people and making them look bad.

Now, it’s Tianna Bartoletta’s turn.

Bartoletta, a two-time world champion (2005, 2015) and the reigning Olympic Gold Medalist in the long jump, won the American Championship in the long jump on day three of the USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Sacramento.

She recorded the three best jumps of the event, logging a 7.05-meter jump on her final attempt of the day. Her first and fourth jumps, logged at 7.01-meters were the second and third best attempts of the event as well.
