At one point in time, the sky appeared to be the limit for Marquez North. He burst on the scene in Knoxville with a miraculous, field flipping catch against South Carolina, proving to be the key component in that upset win back in 2013.
However, North fell victim to injuries along the way, stunting his growth during his time at Tennessee. He surprisingly entered the NFL Draft in 2016, but fell undrafted. He signed with the Rams, but never did stick.
But maybe the NFL isn’t done with him quite yet. Today, Aaron Wilson is reporting that North worked out for the Dallas Cowboys.

Should North join the Cowboys, it’s hard to find a place for him to fit. Dez Bryant, Brice Butler, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley, Ryan Switzer and Noah Brown all figure to be locks ahead of North. But just getting a shot and getting some tape out for other teams to check out is valuable.
We’ll keep you posted on any potential progress here.
