Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman released his 10 point stance this morning with a headline that read like this: Could Peyton Manning Make a Run for President?
Let’s back up before we begin. Over the weekend, Manning was spotted with President Trump along with Tennessee Senator Bob Corker as the trio played a round of golf. This just rehashed Manning’s rumored political interest. Peyton’s next move has been speculated on since his retirement, but the former Tennessee great hasn’t given us anything to chew on as of yet.

However, this photo would seem to match up with some of the political rumors. It would make sense for Manning to speak with Trump — an outsider who was able to land the highest job in the land — as well as Corker, who is a prominent politician from the state of Tennessee. All of this is pure speculation of course.
Freeman claims that he received a text from an AFC General Manager that read “Peyton Manning will be President one day.”
I don’t know if I’ll go that far, but if Manning wants a political career, he can certainly have it. He’s a guy that seems to succeed at whatever he does.
I think Tennessee fans have all had the thought of Manning one day returning to Knoxville to coach the Vols (in some capacity) run through their heads. I personally thought that he would always end up in a broadcast booth somewhere. Nobody knows but Peyton.
Does this golf outing mean anything? Probably not. But it sure does throw some gasoline on the political rumors that surround Manning.
