Garrett Shrader has been offered by Tennessee, per his twitter account. Shrader attended a Tennessee camp on Thursday, where he received the offer. Alabama, Penn State, South Carolina, North Carolina and Wake Forest are just some of the schools in the mix for the 2019 signal caller. Shrader is out of the Charlotte area.
Tennessee appears to be set for the time being under center. Quinten Dormady has two years left. Jarrett Guarantano is in the thick of the quarterback battle as a redshirt freshman with four years of football eligibility left. Tennessee also has Adrian Martinez and Michael Penix currently sitting in their 2018 class, but you certainly never turn away top quarterbacks.
Shrader is 6-4, 190 pounds and listed as a pro style passer. He obvious has had good showing in camps, receiving offers from Tennessee and Alabama in just a two day span. Shrader is expected to be one of the highest ranked quarterbacks in the 2019 group.
