Sportsbook Releases Odds on the Tennessee Quarterback Battle

In Vegas, you can almost bet on anything. The same can be said for the world of online sports gambling. The online sportsbook has released odds on the Tennessee quarterback battle between Quinten Dormady and Jarrett Guarantano. Place your bets!

Bookmaker.eu likes Quinten Dormady to win the job for week one. Guarantano isn’t too far behind, however. Betting on the redshirt freshman would net you a little better than a 1-1 payout.

If I was a gambling man, I’d throw down the house on Quinten Dormady. The Junior passer has done everything the right way this offseason and appears to have a slight edge on Guarantano, who was a prized recruit and a big get for Butch Jones. Guarantano might fit the offense a little better from an athletic standpoint, but Butch has said numerous times not to sleep on Dormady as an athlete.

I think time in the offense and program will win out here, eventually. However, I do think Guarantano will be given every chance to win the job as camp opens later this week. Can he seize his opportunity?
