Tennessee is absolutely banging on all cylinders on the recruiting trail. Just days after landing Greg Emerson, Tennessee has now landed defensive end Dorian Gerald. He’s a three star coming out of the College of the Canyons, but will bring immediate and much needed depth on the edge for the Volunteers.
Gerald was said to be choosing between South Carolina and Tennessee. He held offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU and a host of others.
He announced his commitment today on Twitter.

Gerald is 6-3, 260 pounds originally from the state of South Carolina. He ended up spurning his home state for the chance to be a Volunteer.
That gives Tennessee their 17th commitment of the 2018 cycle to this point. To be blunt, Butch Jones is cleaning up — especially along the defensive line. This only boosts what is currently a top five class across the board.
