A bet placed on Jarrett Guarantano would net you better than 2-1 odds at this point. I’ve speculated that Guarantano’s athletic ability has kept him in this race, despite Dormady’s strong spring game and camp performance.

At the end of the day, you have to think that Dormady’s time within the system will win out. I realize that there’s a new offensive coordinator, but the offense isn’t expected to change too much.

You still can’t rule out a two quarterback system, either. I’d guess both guys get their time to shine this season, no matter who starts the opening game.
