We have an interesting development on the Georgia Tech front. Leading rusher Dedrick Mills has been dismissed from the team. This coming just a little over two weeks before the Yellow Jackets take on the Vols in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Big blow for @GeorgiaTechFB--leading returning rusher Dedrick Mills dismissed from team for violating athletic dept rules, per team release

Mills was set to fill the “B-Back” role in Georgia Tech’s triple option attack.
Unfortunately, this was the third incident for Mills during his brief time at Tech. He was suspended twice last season for a total of three games. A reason wasn’t given for the suspensions.
In just nine games, Mills ran for 771 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. He was expected to have a big year in 2017, set to build on his 5.1 yards per carry from 2016. Now, Georgia Tech has to scramble and come up with a new rotation in their unique backfield.
