Strike another name off of the list. The University of Tennessee has claimed another.
Four-star safety Trey Dean has committed to the Vols. Tennessee has once again laid another brick in the foundation for the 2018 class and beyond.

New defensive backs coach Charlton Warren had a large role to play in obtaining Dean, as expected. However, to get a commitment this quickly is a bit surprising.
But in the end, a win is a win.
Tennessee will lose a lot of talent and experience at the position after the 2017 season. Justin Martin, Todd Kelly Jr., Emmanuel Moseley, and Shaq Wiggins will have vacated Rocky Top - otherwise dependent on extraneous circumstances
The move puts UT back into the top five nationally - specifically to number four - and gives the Vols eight four-star recruits for the 2018 class.
This is obviously a huge addition for UT's 2018 class, but the Vols still have work to do. Up next is Jaycee Horn, another talented defensive back out of Georgia.
Let's hope Mr. Warren can work his magic on him as well.
