Following Tennessee’s thrilling win in double overtime over Georgia Tech on Monday night, the Vols have moved up in the week 2 edition of the Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday afternoon.
Tennessee entered Monday’s match up ranked 24th in the country according to the Coaches Poll, and 25th according to the AP Poll. Now, with a 42-41 win over Georgia Tech and a 1-0 start to the 2017 season, they’ve managed to move up again, coming in at #21 in the Coaches Poll.
As far as the Associated Press Poll is concerned, Tennessee’s win did not persuade the voters to move them up in the rankings, as the Vols stay put at #25.
