Tennessee isn’t done swinging for the fences in the 2018 recruiting cycle quite yet. We’ve seen Jeremy Pruitt get Tennessee in the door with a number of new prospects — and here’s another.
It’s Joshua Moore, a four star athlete out of Yoakum, Texas. Jeremy Pruitt and members of his staff paid Moore an in-home visit on Wednesday night, continuing their tour across the country.
No stone unturned for new Tennessee staff. Vols coaches, including Jeremy Pruitt, go in-home with 4-star athlete @_TheJoshuaMoore tonight, as they push for final OV next weekend from the Under Armour All-American.

Moore is 6-1, 170 pounds. He’s a four star prospect, checking in 86th overall in 247Sports’ composite rankings. Judging on Tennessee’s immediate need for corners, I’d bet that’s what Pruitt would ask him to be in Knoxville. Moore has the length that Pruitt has been looking for at corner since he took the job in December, but I’m just speculating.
The Vols also have Alontae Taylor signed and enrolled, along with a commitment from Jordan Young. Each are four star receivers. Don’t forget about Jacob Copeland either, another four star receiver who Tennessee is in the mix for.
Texas A&M, Texas, Oregon, Nebraska and Alabama are all in the mix for Moore. Tennessee got the in-home visit, so we’ll see if that leads to an on campus visit before national signing day.
