Palmer is the 29th ranked corner in the country and 278th overall player, according to the 247Sports rankings. This was another player that Tennessee got in late with, offering him on January 14th. Arkansas offered him on January 12th. Now they’ve both made the final three.
Palmer visited N.C. State on January 19th and Nebraska on the 12th.
Tennessee is in the mix with so many corners that it’s tough to keep up with. Top targets Eddie Smith, Isaac Taylor-Stuart and Olaijah Griffin were all visiting Alabama, while Tennessee hosted Tyson Campbell, Brandon Davis and Palmer this weekend. They’ve also gotten in with a couple of athletes that could ultimately end up playing corner.
The top need has been clear for a few weeks now. Let’s see if the Vols can close the deal on a couple of these guys.
