Tennessee fortunately gets a week of recovery following losses to Florida and Georgia. Next Saturday though, they’ll have to pay a visit to No. 8 Auburn as they continue their stretch of three straight matchups against a top ten opponent.
That game will be played at Noon eastern, the SEC announced today. It will be televised on either the SEC Network or ESPN on October 13th.

It will be the first time Tennessee has gone to Auburn since 2008. The Tigers have won the last six meetings in the series, holding a 28-21-3 lead in the series.
Auburn currently sits at 4-1, coming off of a struggle against Southern Miss. Gus Malzahn’s group eventually came out with a 24-13 win. Their only loss came against LSU, who has been one of college football’s surprise teams to this point. The Tigers opened the season with a huge win over the Washington Huskies, who remain ranked inside of the top ten.
Tennessee will have two weeks to prepare for Auburn — a team that Jeremy Pruitt knows pretty well. We’ll see if they can build off of some bright spots that we saw against Georgia.
