Hey, if nothing else, Will Muschamp can’t beat Butch Jones again. Jeremy Pruitt will get his first shot at Muschamp and the Gamecocks next week, following a matchup against Alabama this Saturday.
The SEC announced that the game will kickoff at 7:30 PM eastern on the SEC Network.

The Gamecocks, like the Vols, are sitting at 3-3 on the season. They were competitive with what’s turned out to be a pretty good Texas A&M team last week, ultimately coming up short in the end. Early losses to Georgia and Kentucky squashed any outside hope they had at contending for the SEC East.
Tennessee, of course, got an unexpected upset win at Auburn last weekend. The progress that this team is starting to show under Jeremy Pruitt is remarkable. Suddenly, there are plenty of winnable football games for the Vols in the second half of this season. That important stretch begins with South Carolina 12 days from now.
