This one won’t be fun.

Tennessee’s annual meeting with Alabama is set for October 20th at Neyland Stadium. That game will take place at 3:30 eastern on CBS, per the SEC’s announcement today.

Here’s the full slate for that day, which is lacking a little sizzle.

It’s the fourth straight year that Tennessee and Alabama have been the SEC’s game of the week. It will be the 101st meeting between the two programs and will be Jeremy Pruitt’s first shot against his old boss.

Alabama is currently undefeated and the No. 1 team in the land. They’ll get the Missouri Tigers this week before facing the Vols next Saturday.

Tua Tagovailoa has made the Tide even more scary this year, leading an efficient yet explosive offensive attack. In fact, Alabama has been able to build such big leads in the first half, Saban really hasn’t even been forced to play his starters for a full game yet.

Tennessee will likely take one on the chin here again, that’s going to happen to just about anyone that plays Alabama this year.
