Trio of Georgia commits to visit Tennessee this weekend

Another huge visit weekend.

We already knew about No. 1 overall player Nolan Smith taking a visit to Knoxville this weekend. Turns out, he’ll have two more Georgia commits on the trip with him. Three of Kirby Smart’s top six rated commitments will be in Knoxville this weekend as Tennessee begins to make a push towards the early signing period.

Joining Smith will be five-star defensive tackle Travon Walker and now four-star linebacker Trezmen Marshall. Walker will also check out Clemson this weekend.

Marshall took an official visit to Tennessee back on June 8th, while Walker took an unofficial look at the Vols during spring practice earlier this year.

Walker is the 23rd ranked player in the 2019 class — the No. 2 defensive tackle prospect. The 6-5, 272 pound tackle committed to Georgia in July, but that hasn’t stopped him from taking looks elsewhere. He’s seen South Carolina and Florida and will now take his final officials to Tennessee and Clemson.

Lacey is a 6-1, 235 pound top-100 prospect out of Homerville, Georgia. He’s been committed to Georgia since April of this year. He’s seen Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama since. He’ll see Knoxville one more time this weekend.

Tennessee currently holds the 15th ranked class for 2019 with 20 commitments.
