After a delay of just under 24 hours, sports books have decided on a line for the upcoming Vanderbilt — Tennessee game this Saturday in Nashville. The Commodores have been placed as 3.5 point favorites for the contest.

The delay was likely due to the status of Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, who was labelled day-to-day by head coach Jeremy Pruitt earlier today. His status will certainly be something that we monitor for the rest of the week.
Keller Chryst came on in relief of Guarantano against Missouri, tossing two interceptions and completing just 36.8 percent of his passes. Simply put, Guarantano means quite a bit to this offense.
Vanderbilt kept their bowl hopes alive with a dramatic 36-29 overtime win over Ole Miss at home last weekend. Following Tennessee’s loss to Missouri, the winner of this one will become bowl eligible, so there’s plenty to play for on both sides.
