Tennessee has stayed squarely in the race for a couple of five-star prospects during the 2019 cycle. Already with one firm commitment from five-star tackle Wanya Morris, Jeremy Pruitt’s staff has been in the hunt for five-star players like Quavaris Crouch and Darnell Wright too.
This weekend, according to a report from Rivals, Tennessee is set to host Crouch on an official visit.

Crouch won’t be the only big time blue-chipper on campus this weekend either. Stay tuned.
The five-star athlete is the 28th ranked player in the 247 Sports composite rankings, while Rivals has him at 9th overall. Crouch projects as either a running back or an edge linebacker. At 6-3, 230 pounds, he has a legitimate future on either side of the ball.
Crouch has visited Tennessee three times since Pruitt took the job in December. He also attended the season opener, which was played in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. This weekend will be the fourth time he’s visited.
So Tennessee does end up getting an official visit from Crouch, joining Florida State and Michigan so far. Despite those visits, Clemson is the likely leader for Crouch. He’s seen Clemson four times this year and the Tigers hold 11 crystal ball projections right now.
