Welcome to the early signing period, class of 2019 edition. The Tennessee Volunteers are in the thick of yet another rebuild as Jeremy Pruitt tries to bring the Vols back to prominence in the Southeastern Conference.
In order to win in the Fall, you’ve got to win throughout the year on the recruiting trail, but especially through December through February. Tennessee is expected to sign roughly 15 of their current commits during this early signing period. Several of their uncommitted targets are committing and signing over the next three days as well, so that number will likely climb a bit.
Tennessee will likely sign the bulk of their class over the next two days, but they still have over a month until the traditional signing day occurs on February 6th.
The Vols sit 16th in 247’s class rankings right now, but they’ve got a pretty good shot to finish strong here with a little over a month to go. That number could realistically get to about 10th or so with Darnell Wright and Quavaris Crouch currently leaning Tennessee.
Below you’ll find all of the updates over the next three days.
