We’re seeing plenty of 2020 targets emerge now that the 2019 early signing period is behind us. Tennessee signed four offensive lineman during that time and have a good chance at adding a fifth in five-star tackle Darnell Wright. Still, work has begun on the 2020 class.
Tennessee is considered the leader for four-star tackle and Knoxville native Bryn Tucker, but they’re also in the mix for Omari Thomas, who comes out of Memphis. Thomas named a top 12 this week, which included the Vols.

Thomas took an unofficial visit to Knoxville on October 20th. He received his offer from Tennessee back in January of 2017.
The four-star offensive tackle ranks 74th nationally and checks in as the 5th ranked player in the state of Tennessee. The 6-5, 301 pound prospect is the 7th ranked tackle in the country, according to the 247 Composite. Alabama, Memphis, Ole Miss and Texas A&M are just a few of the other players for Thomas.
