Tennessee has been lingering around the recruitment of five-star receiver Jadon Haselwood for a while now. Haselwood said back in July that Tennessee was working hard to flip him off of his commitment to Georgia. Since then, he’s decommitted from the Bulldogs, but we haven’t heard much from him in regards to Tennessee.
That changed this weekend as he showed up to Knoxville for an unofficial visit.

The 6-2, 196 pound prospect is the No. 1 ranked receiver in the 2019 class. He’s the sixth ranked player overall in the class and the top prospect out of the state of Georgia, according to 247 Sports.
Since backing off of his Georgia commitment, Miami has stepped in as the leader. The Hurricanes hold 68 percent of the crystal ball projections compared to Georgia’s 32. Auburn, Oklahoma and Florida State have also been in the mix.
Tennessee currently has just one commitment at receiver — four-star Ramel Keyton. It feels like Tennessee has a ton of work to do to get in this battle, but it’s at least note-worthy that they got him on campus.
Haselwood will announce his decision on January 5th, live at the All-American Bowl on NBC.
