National signing day is now less than one week away. Tennessee has already visited in-home with four star Jacob Copeland. Tonight, the Volunteer staff went in-home with Alabama commit Quay Walker.

Pruitt and his staff have already steered JJ Peterson away from Alabama, now they’re trying to do the same with Walker. He’s been committed to Alabama since June 8th of last year. Jeremy Pruitt was his main recruiter while he was with the Crimson Tide.
Naturally, that relationship has Walker considering Tennessee. The five star linebacker is 6-4, 236 pounds and would be a perfect fit on the edge of Pruitt’s new 3-4 scheme.
The Volunteers have been trending in the right direction for Walker, if you listen to the crystal ball projections. It seems like the race is down to Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
Walker is the 31st ranked prospect and No. 2 overall outside linebacker, according to 247Sports.
