The future of the quarterback position at Tennessee is very much unsettled. Butch Jones had two four star quarterbacks in Adrian Martinez and Michael Penix committed to the program, but Tennessee lost both (one way or another) during the wild coaching change.
Jeremy Pruitt’s staff was able rebound and sign three star JT Shrout back in December.
With the 2019 recruiting cycle now on the forefront, Tennessee has sent out an offer to dual-threat Travis Mumphrey. Mumphrey announced the offer over the weekend on Twitter.
Great talk with coach @CoachJPruitt & @CoachYACJohnson with that being said, I Am Blessed to receive an Offer from the University Of Tennessee #GoVols pic.twitter.com/aKvjPpZOQF
