Tennessee scored double-digit runs for the second time this season en route to an 11-4 victory over UNC Greensboro on Saturday.
The Vols’ win also gives UT its first series win of 2018.
Freshman Zach Daniels hit his second home run of the season for Tennessee, a two-run shot to right field in the fourth inning. Pete Derkay and Andre Lipcius joined Daniels with multiple RBIs.
Tennessee’s 18 hits were a season high.
Tennessee starter Garrett Stallings went seven innings, allowing three runs on 10 hits. Stallings was credited with the win and his ERA now sits at 3.26 for the season.
The Vols will look for the sweep of UNCG Sunday at 1 p.m.
