Tennessee has sent out an offer to receiver Cedric Tillman out of Las Vegas, just days before national signing day on Wednesday. The offer went out on Sunday night.

The 6-3, 200 pound receiver is a three star prospect, according to 247 Sports. Tillman has offers from UNLV, Hawaii and Weber State. The crystal ball projections are now pouring in for the Volunteers.
The timing of the offer is the interesting part of the equation here. Tennessee offered Tillman on Sunday night, just hours after Jordan Young appeared to be wavering on his commitment to Tennessee. Young remains committed, but it’s clear that the staff doesn’t feel 100 percent comfortable with the situation. Young reportedly will decide between Tennessee and Florida State on national signing day Wednesday.
With Young now on the fence, Tennessee would need another receiver to round out their 2018 class. Tillman would fit that role, joining Alontae Taylor who has already signed with the Vols.
Tennessee is holding out hope for four star receiver Jacob Copeland as well, but he appears to be headed to Florida or Alabama.
