Tennessee’s second commitment of the day comes in the from of Trevon Flowers, a safety prospect out of Tucker, Georgia. Flowers was generating heavy interest from Clemson and Dabo Swinney late. He visited Tennessee last weekend after receiving an offer from Clemson just days before.
Tennessee offered Flowers on January 15th of this year.
Flowers checks in as a three star prospect, according to 247 Sports. The 6-1, 185 pounder fills a need for Tennessee after a couple of safety de-commitments earlier in the cycle.
Flowers is a two sport athlete and initially signed with Kentucky to play baseball. He said that he met with new baseball coach Tony Vitello during his visit last week, so playing two sports at Tennessee seems like it’s on the table for Flowers.
