Four star wide receiver Jacob Copeland announced his decision to sign with the Florida Gators this afternoon. Copeland is a four star receiver out of Pensacola, Florida. He is 247 Sports’ 12th ranked receiver and their 69th overall player.
Unfortunately for Copeland, the story shifted to his mom. She got up and left after he announced that he was signing with Florida. As you can see below, she was in a Tennessee hat and an Alabama shirt.

Copeland is 6-0, 192 pounds. Tennessee was able to make a comeback here by hiring Jeremy Pruitt, who was recruiting him during his time at Alabama. They weren’t able to top Florida, however.
Tennessee could have really used another playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. With Jordan Young flipping to Florida State, that leaves Tennessee with just Alontae Taylor and Cedric Tillman at receiver in the 2018 class.
