Tennessee releases ‘Don’t Pick Us’ video before the NCAA Tournament

The Players’ Tribune released a video today entitled “don’t pick us.” It was a video hosted by Kyle Alexander, who pointed out all the good things that Tennessee basketball has going for it.

It features cameos from Rick Barnes, Admiral Schofield and Grant Williams. Watch the full production below.

This of course is in reference to Tennessee being picked 13th in the SEC by the media in the preseason. The Volunteers have turned that into motivation this season, winning the SEC regular season with Auburn and capturing a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

This team wants people to keep sleeping on them, however. Don’t pick us now — now that Tennessee is back near the top of college basketball landscape. It’s a phrase that perfectly captures the attitude of the roster.
