Story ranks just inside of 247 Sports’ top 100, checking in at 96th overall in the 2020 class. Tennessee got the commitment over Alabama, Georgia, Louisville and Mississippi State — each of whom has already made an offer to the Alabama native.
Tennessee offered Story on January 15th. He made two visits to Tennessee this month, attending junior day on March 3rd and taking an unofficial visit today. He committed shortly after that.
Story has played quarterback and safety so far in high school. He scored an even 50 touchdowns last year while adding three interceptions on his way to a state title.
This is the first known commitment to the 2020 class for Jeremy Pruitt and company. They will undoubtedly have work to do to hold off Alabama and Georgia, but that’s a good start to the class.
