The Tennessee Volunteers will be the No. 2 seed in next week’s SEC Tournament in St. Louis. Auburn clinched the No. 1 see with a 79-70 win over South Carolina today. They also clinched a share of the SEC regular season title in the process.
Tennessee can take a share of the title tonight with a win over the Georgia Bulldogs, but they’re already locked into the No. 2 seed. Auburn’s head to head win back in January clinched that for the Tigers.
Tennessee will play on Friday night at 7 PM eastern against the winner of the 7-10 matchup. That 7-10 game remains to be determined, but LSU, Mississippi State and Missouri are all in that mix.
LSU is the 10, 7 will be Miss State or Mizzou depending on if Tigers beat Arkansas tonight. I believe. https://t.co/VEroRqeNrw

UPDATE: Tennessee captured a share of the SEC title with a win tonight over Georgia. That didn’t matter in terms of seeding, however.
Tennessee will play the winner of LSU (10) and Mississippi State (7) on Friday night at 7 PM Eastern.
Looks like we'll have a rematch next Thursday night in St. Louis in the SEC Tournament.#LSU will be the No. 10 seed and Mississippi State the No. 7 seed.
