SEC Tournament: What are the odds?

Auburn is a slight favorite in St. Louis.

Picking a favorite for this year’s SEC Tournament is no easy task. It was a pretty wide open season for the conference with no real dominant team stepping up to the plate. Even Auburn — who led the SEC for just about the entire regular season — went 2-3 in their final five games. That hasn’t scared oddsmakers off of the Tigers, however.

According to Bovada, Auburn is the favorite to cut down the nets in St. Louis on Sunday afternoon. You can get them at +350 to take the SEC title currently.

Tennessee is a really close second to Auburn, checking in at +375. Florida is directly behind the Volunteers at +400, with Kentucky in the mix at +450. There isn’t much separation between your top four seeds, each of whom have a double-bye.

Texas A&M has the fifth best odds, despite being the eight-seed. You can get them at +1000. Missouri and Arkansas follow from there. Ole Miss has by far the worst odds of any team, coming in at +25000.

The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, March 7th from St. Louis.
