Tennessee is looking to build off of a pretty successful week on the recruiting trail, which saw them land a 2019 and a 2020 commitment. Head coach Jeremy Pruitt and company were able to land Kristian Story out of Alabama’s backyard, then backed that up with getting a commitment from tight end Jackson Lowe just a day later.

New offers
Tennessee offered three star cornerback Tyrone Lewis and three star receiver Kyle Maxwell, along with unranked quarterback Amani Gilmore. Gilmore is a 6-1 pro-style passer out of Louisiana, who currently holds FBS offers from just Kentucky and Tennessee.
Each of these three took unofficial visits to Tennessee over the weekend. Each of the trio are members of the 2019 class, too.
The Vols also sent out an offer to three star 2019 cornerback Jaydon Hill. The 6-0 corner out of Alabama holds offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and plenty of others.
Gerrian Christopher — a three star 2019 receiver — also picked up an offer from Tennessee. 2021 defensive lineman Katron Evans also picked up a Tennessee offer. Each prospect visited Knoxville on Friday.
