The Vols already had one big recruit visiting campus this weekend and they just added another to the itinerary for Knoxville. Except this isn’t his first trip to East Tennessee.
According to Jesse Simonton of Volquest.com, 5-star offensive tackle Darnell Wright will be in town this weekend again for the second time this spring.
In addition to hosting 4⭐️ CB Warren Burrell on an official visit this weekend, the Vols will also have 5⭐️ OT Darnell Wright on campus for this second time this spring.

The mammoth tackle out West Virginia is considered the top player at his position in-state and the number two tackle in the nation, per Rivals.com.
His high school coach, Billy Seals credits the coaching change as the primary reason for Wright’s heightened interest.
“I think it’s kind of brought them back into the picture, to be honest with you. I’m not sure that, with the previous staff, that would’ve been a place that Darnell would have went to. But I think the new staff and the guys that have been hired there at Tennessee, and the championships they’ve won and the staff they’ve put together, I think that gets them back into the fold with Darnell.” - Billy Seals, via govols247.com
Regardless of the reasons, Rocky Top has become a place of interest for highly-touted recruits from all over the country since Pruitt’s arrival.
