The University of Tennessee-Knoxville campus was a busy place this weekend. The Vols hosted a number of top prospects for visits, one of which being four-star pass rusher Khris Bogle.

Bogle — a top 75 player according to 247 Sports — is a big time Tennessee target as they try to stock up their edge rushers for Jeremy Pruitt and Kevin Sherrer’s new 3-4 base scheme. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native would fit as an outside linebacker for the Vols, which remains a need at this point.
Bogle has the length at just under 6-4, but will need to add weight to his slim 200 pound frame to play in the SEC. However, that’s not all that uncommon to see from prospects at Bogle’s level.
Miami and Florida are also hot on Bogle’s trail, though he holds offers from just about every major player in the college football world. He visited both Miami and Florida in the month of May, along with taking a look at Auburn, who put in an offer just last month.
Tennessee seems to be in play to land Bogle, but they will have to beat out a couple of in-state powers to bring him to Knoxville.
