Another pass-rusher to watch.

Tennessee is in the hunt for another front seven piece to add to their transitioning defensive scheme. It’s four-star DE/OLB Sam Williams, who is currently enrolled at Northeast Mississippi Community College.

Williams included the Vols in his top five schools earlier this week. Ole Miss, Oregon, FAU and Auburn joined them.

Ole Miss has received two crystal ball projections for Williams.

Williams stands in at 6-4, 250 pounds. He recorded 53 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks during the 2017 season. Williams is originally from the Montgomery, Alabama area. He ranks as the No. 6 JUCO player in the country, according to 247 Sports.

Tennessee received a visit from Williams back in May. Williams most recently saw Ole Miss, taking part in one of their football camps. Auburn was a late add to the party, offering Williams on May 19th.

Dante Walker and Khris Bogle are the two other names to watch for Tennessee at this position, for now.

Here’s a quick look at what Williams brings to the table.
