For the third time this year, one of the best players in the country took a visit to Knoxville to see the Tennessee campus. Five-star athlete Quavaris Crouch took yet another visit to Tennessee today, according to Jesse Simonton of Volquest.com (Rivals).
NEWS: 5-star ATH Quavaris Crouch is slated to be at Tennessee later today — the third visit this year for the nation’s No. 5 prospect.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native visited back in March as well as in January in the opening days of the Jeremy Pruitt era. Three visits in the span of six months seems like a significant development to follow.
The 6-3, 238 pound athlete is listed as both a running back and an outside linebacker. He is Rivals’ No. 5 ranked player in the country and 247 Sports’ No. 14 player overall in the 2019 class. It isn’t hard to figure out why, either. The upcoming high school senior ran for over 3,100 yards and racked up 14 sacks during his junior season.
Tennessee could use him on either side of the ball, but I’d guess Pruitt is pitching him to be his next big time pass rusher off the edge, considering the Vols’ needs.
Crouch’s interest list is still pretty wide at this point. Programs like Clemson, Alabama, Florida State, Florida, and Georgia each remain possibilities at this point along with several others.
It’s clear Tennessee is doing something right in the recruiting world. Let’s see if they can reel in another five-star to add to their 2019 class.
