Tennessee thought they had one of their two open scholarships filled at the end of April. That didn’t turn out to be the case.
Richmond grad-transfer Khwan Fore said he was joining Tennessee back on April 30th, but reportedly changed his mind last weekend. That report turned out to be true. Now Fore — who said he was still considering Tennessee — is headed to Louisville.
That report comes from Howie Lindsey of CardinalSports.com.
Change of plans for Richmond’s Khwan Fore. He was likely headed to Tennessee, but now he is coming to Louisville.

So now Rick Barnes is back to having one open spot on the roster. Tennessee picked up a huge commitment from four-star center D.J. Burns on Friday, filling one of two openings. Now Barnes is tasked with finding another player to fill that final spot.
Barnes was able to grab James Daniel during this time last season. Judging on his target of Fore, it’s logical to say that he wants to add a little more depth behind point guards Jordan Bone and Lamonte Turner.
It’s tough to say where the Vols will turn to next, but there are plenty of possibilities with the ever-changing college basketball transfer market.
