Under the radar offensive lineman William Pritchard visiting Tennessee

Tennessee is looking to gain an advantage over Virginia Tech.

Just days after receiving an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers, William Pritchard is now in Knoxville taking his first look at Rocky Top.

The 2019 interior offensive lineman received two huge offers on Wednesday as both Tennessee and Virginia Tech came calling. Before those two offers, Pritchard’s list was pretty thin. Illinois Fighting Illini, MTSU, Syracuse Orange, Navy Midshipmen and Temple Owls were the main teams fighting for Pritchard before this week.

The 6-3, 290 pound Midlothian, Virginia native is currently unranked by 247 Sports and Rivals. With a couple of big time offers coming his way and a visit to Tennessee this week, that should change soon.

We saw a somewhat similar situation with another player out of Virginia this week in athlete Jaden Payoute. Both Tennessee and Virginia Tech have now offered each player.

Pritchard is just the latest offensive line target to emerge for Tennessee as Will Friend and Jeremy Pruitt attempt to restock the trenches. They’ve had great success already this season, landing five-star tackle Wanya Morris and four-star guard Jackson Lampley.
