Cornerback Warren Burrell has officially announced his top three schools and and a commitment date. The Tennessee target is set to announce his intentions on July 27th. The Vols are in Burrell’s top three and are considered leaders for the Georgia cornerback, according to 247’s crystal ball projections.
Tennessee has picked up seven projections for Burrell over the last month, making him the favorite to become the Vols’ first cornerback commit of the 2019 class.

Florida and N.C. State joined the Vols in Burrell’s final three. Auburn was in contention until last week, but Burrell has now officially trimmed his list to three. He visited each finalist in the month of June, finishing with N.C. State on the 22nd. He last saw the Vols on June 1st.
The 6-0, 166 pound Burrell is considered a three-star recruit by 247 Sports. He is the 43rd ranked cornerback in the country and the 478th ranked player in the 2019 class.
