Tennessee has released their media guide and official roster ahead of the 2018 season. After a spring full of position changes and experiments, we’ve been waiting to see which side of the ball that some of these player would land on. This roster answered some of those questions, though I’m sure Jeremy Pruitt would tell you that these moves are far from final.
Here’s the official roster, thanks to Dan Harralson of Volwire.com.

Notable/interesting changes
Jonathan Kongbo: Position officially listed as linebacker, as he announced this summer. Kongbo has slimmed down to 254 pounds to reflect that change. You can expect to see him playing plenty on the edge at that weight.
Ty Chandler: Listed at 201 pounds. We know this staff likes their backs a little bigger, so this was expected.
Alontae Taylor: Listed as both a defensive back and a receiver.
Tyler Byrd: Listed as a receiver after working at cornerback and safety in the spring.
Princeton Fant: Listed as a running back at 6-2, 222 pounds. Fant played tight end last year.
Carlin Fils-Aime: Listed as a defensive back after playing running back in 2017. Fils-Aime handled 31 carries last season.
J.J. Peterson: Officially listed on the roster after a delay. Assigned No. 40.
Greg Emerson: Listed on the roster as a defensive lineman after spending most of the spring on the offensive line. Emerson has bulked up to 305 pounds.
Eric Crosby: Listed as an offensive lineman after playing defense last year.
