SEC Media Days give us a few things every year. Tons of meaningless coach-speak and perhaps even more meaningless conference projections. This year, the Vols were understandably picked to finish 6th in the SEC East, only beating out Vanderbilt in the media’s projections.

Tennessee did receive one vote to win the division. The Georgia Bulldogs are the runaway favorite to represent the east in Atlanta, as expected. Here’s a look at the rest of the media’s projections in the east.

In the west, Alabama is projected to return to Atlanta after taking last year off. Auburn was second with 19 first place votes, while Mississippi State received two first place votes in third place.
