Tennessee has picked up their 15th commitment of the 2019 cycle, landing a pledge from defensive end Roman Harrison. The announcement was made this afternoon, via Harrison’s Twitter account.

The 6-2, 241 pound Harrison likely fits as a 3-4 outside linebacker in Tennessee’s base defensive scheme. He is the second commitment at that particular position in Tennessee’s 2019 class, joining Mississippi’s Jalil Clemsons. Each player will be tasked with getting after opposing quarterbacks over the next few seasons in Knoxville.

Harrison is a three-star prospect out of Bainbridge, Georgia. He is rated as a three-star prospect and is currently the 41st ranked weak-side defensive end prospect in the 2019 class.

Tennessee offered Harrison following his camp performance in Knoxville on June 11th. The Vols were one of just three power five schools to offer Harrison, joining Michigan State and Georgia Tech.

Harrison is the 6th Tennessee commit of the 2019 class out of the Peach State.
