Tennessee has emerged as finalist for four-star receiver Jalen Curry. The 6-2, 196 pound receiver prospect has released his final five schools, which includes the Volunteers. Auburn, Arizona, Florida State and LSU joined the Vols in the top five.

Curry is the 150th ranked player in the 2019 class and the 25th rated receiver, according to 247 sports. He comes out of the recruiting hotbed of Houston, Texas. Currently, Curry is the 23th ranked player in the state of Texas.

Auburn holds a commanding lead with Curry, if you listen to the crystal ball projections. However, Curry says he’s been hearing from Tennessee more than ever recently. He took an official visit to Tennessee on April 20th. He did the same with Auburn on June 15th.

Curry exploded onto the scene last year as a junior, amassing 1,570 yards and 18 touchdowns for St. Pius X. Here’s a look at what he brings to the table.
