The 6-4, 315 pound Williams adds more beef to the Tennessee defensive front, which has been a theme of the 2019 class to this point. Williams joins 6-0, 353 pound Elijah Simmons, 6-4, 305 pound LaDarrius Cox and 6-7, 290 pound Darel Middleton in the 2019 defensive line group.
Williams is the No. 1 ranked JUCO defensive tackle and the 15th overall JUCO prospect in the 2019 class, according to 247 Sports. He picked up an offer from Tennessee on June 21st. Williams saw both Tennessee and Georgia over the weekend, taking unofficial visits to each school. Today, Williams chose Tennessee over West Virginia and Georgia. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
