Melvin McBride announced his top five yesterday, including the Vols along with Memphis, Indiana, Arkansas and Louisville. McBride noted that this was not his final five and his recruitment is still open. But for now, these are his leaders.

The 6-4, 315 pound guard prospect is rated as a three-star by 247 Sports. He is the 32nd ranked guard in the 2019 class, checking in at 750th overall.
McBride is yet another example of a player who showed up to camp with Tennessee and earned an offer from the Vols. He camped with the Vols on June 14th and performed well enough to earn his offer on the spot. Both Indiana and Arkansas also offered McBride in the month of June.
Louisville and Arkansas lead the crystal ball projections for now, receiving three and two votes respectively.
